Felicia Ragland Invited To WNBA Pre-Draft Camp

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State University senior guard Felicia Ragland has been invited to the WNBA Pre-Draft Camp at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago on Friday and Saturday.
The WNBA hopefuls, comprised of players from more than 60 colleges and universities, will showcase their skills during the two-day combine. All 16 WNBA teams will be scouting players in preparation for the upcoming collegiate draft, which will be held on Friday, April 19 at 8:30 a.m. (PDT) on ESPN2. The draft features four rounds and a grand total of 64 selections.
WNBA training camps will open on Monday, April 29. The WNBA Preseason begins on Thursday, May 9, and the regular season will commence on Saturday, May 25.
Ragland, a native of Tulare, CA, is a two-time honorable mention Associated Press All-American and a two-time Kodak District 8 All-American. The 5-9 guard is a three-time Pacific-10 Conference first team pick and was the 2001 Pac-10 Player of the Year. As a senior, Ragland led the Beavers in scoring (19.9 ppg.), rebounding (6.6 rpg.), steals (2.5 spg.), and 3-point field goals (69). Ragland is one of just three Oregon State players to score 1,600 points (1,803) and pull down 600 rebounds (739). She finished her four seasons at OSU ranked in the Oregon State top-10 in 14 different career statistical categories.
