Oregon Track Club will kick off the spring season of track and field by hosting a free kids' mini meet following the Oregon-Washington dual meet on April 13 at Hayward Field. The youth portion of the meet will begin around 4:45 p.m. Kids 12 and younger will have the opportunity to compete in the 60 or 100-meter sprint, softball throw, long jump and/or 400 meters.
Kids high school age and younger are encouraged to become Oregon Track Club Junior Members and receive additional benefits. Junior membership costs $15 and entitle kids to free entry to the Oregon-Washington dual meet, an OTC T-shirt, BBQ lunch at all home U of O track meets this spring, free entry to all five of the summer all-comers' meets and discounts at local sporting goods stores.
