UA Basketball Player Named Underrated All-American

University of Arizona women's basketball player Elizabeth Pickney has been named a second team Underrated All-American by WomensCollegeHoops.com.
A senior forward, Pickney finished the 2002 season as the Wildcats' leading scorer, averaging 16.3 points per game, and was the second-leading rebounder, at 8.0 per game. She was a first team All-Pac-10 selection for the second straight year and was named Arizona's Most Valuable Player.
Pickney ended her UA career with 86 double-digit scoring performances and 11 double-doubles. This season, she became Arizona's career leader in blocked shots (147) and games started (112). She played in 121 consecutive games for the Cats and was one of only two players in the history of the program to tally more than 1,500 points and 700 rebounds.
