Women's Tennis Swept By No. 3 Stanford

TUCSON, Ariz. - The No. 21 ranked Arizona women's tennis team fell to No. 3 Stanford on Friday 7-0. The loss snapped Arizona's two-game win streak and dropped their record to 10-9, 3-3 in the Pac-10.
In singles play, Wildcat freshman Maja Mlakar, ranked No. 13, was defeated by Stanford's No. 10 Lauren Kalvaria, 6-1, 6-2. UA sophomore Debbie Larocque, ranked No. 87 fell to Stanford's No. 18 Gabriela Lastra.
In doubles play, the No. 13 duo of Mlakar and Larocque dropped their match against the No. 2 ranked team of Stanford's Kalvaria and Lastra, 8-3.
The Cats continue action on the road Saturday, April 12 against No. 15 California at Noon PDT.
