OSU Slides Into 10th At Pac-10s

The Oregon State women's golf team shot a 329 in the second round of the Pac-10 Championships on Tuesday, sliding into 10th place with 18 holes to play Wednesday morning at the par-72 Walla Walla Country Club.
OSU, which stands one shot back of Oregon with a 649, was led by sophomore Laura Skinner's 79 on Tuesday. Skinner is 47th overall at 164.
After two rounds, junior Ashlei Pendleton leads the Beavers in a tie for 37th with a score of 160. Pendleton opened the tournament Monday with a 76, but carded an 84 Tuesday.
Freshman Alex Lucio shot 86 Tuesday for a 167.
UCLA moved up the leaderboard from fifth to second with a 299 on Tuesday, just three shots back of leader Arizona's 597.
UCLA's Yvonne Choe nudged her lead to two shots over Lorena Ochoa of Arizona and USC's Mikaela Parmlid, shooting a second-round 72 to bring her total to 1-under 143.
