Women's Golf In Third After Second Day Of Pac-10 Championships

Walla Walla, Wash. - Junior Mikaela Parmlid shot a second round 74 on Tuesday to stay within striking range of the conference individual crown with one round to go at the 2002 Pac-10 Championships held at Walla Walla Country Club.

Parmlid (145) and Lorena Ochoa of Arizona are two strokes behind leader Yvonee Choe of UCLA (143).

The Women of Troy (605) are third overall behind Arizona (597) and UCLA (600). Arizona State is fourth (606), followed by California (607).

Also for USC, junior Yon Yim is tied for eighth (150), junior Becky Lucidi is tied for 22nd (155), sophomore Anna Rawson is tied for 26th (156) and senior Leila Chartrand is tied for 29th (157).

The tournament resumes on Wednesday, with the final round teeing off at 8 a.m.
