Peavey Earns National Player Of The Week Honors

LOS ANGELES -- Bill Peavey earned Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Week honors for his four-game performance April 16-21. For the week, the senior first baseman went 11-for-15 with three doubles, three home runs, four walks and 10 RBI.

Peavey had a career-high five hits in a 5-for-5 day on April 19 at Washington State with three doubles. The next day, he collected a career-high six RBI with two home runs, including a grand slam, in a 3-for-3 day. His second home run of the day, a solo shot to right, landed in one of the holes on a putting green on the golf course located outside Bailey-Brayton Field.
