Spring Game Rosters Announced

Corvallis, Ore. - Three-year lettermen Shawn Kintner, Tyler Ross, Seth Trimmer, Nick Barnett, and Terrell Roberts headline the White Squad in Saturday's Spring Game at 1 p.m in Reser Stadium. The Black Squad also features five three-year lettermen - Mike Kuykendall, Ryan Cesca, Eric Manning, Erik Tuma, and Dennis Weathersby.
The White will have 10 projected starters, as of the April 24 depth chart. Sophomore quarterback Derek Anderson leads the White offense, and is joined by fellow starters Kanan Sanchez (RG), Matt Brock (C), Lee Davis (LT), and Kintner (SE). Seniors Barnett (SB) and Roberts (LC) lead the White defensive unit, with projected season opening starters Mitch Meeuwsen (FS), Dwan Edwards (RT), and Noah Happe (LE).
The Black defense features seniors Eric Manning (LT) and Weathersby (RC), and junior Richard Seigler (MB). The remaining starters on the Black defense include Dan Rothwell (RE), Eric Tuma (WB), and Lawrence Turner (SS). Junior flanker James Newson leads the Black offense. Newson is joined by starters Cole Clasen (SL), Mike Kuykendall (LG), Doug Nienhuis (RT), Jermaine Jackson (TE), and Steven Jackson (TB). Jermaine Jackson currently is on the first unit with the injury to 2001 starter Tim Euhus.
Gregg Smith, Eric Yarber, Craig Bray, Michael Gray, and Jonathan Smith will coach the White. Tim Lappano, Dan Cozzetto, Noel Mazzone, Greg Newhouse, Al Simmons, and Jamie Christian will coach the Black.
The teams were selected via a draft that was held Wednesday morning.
A one hour show featuring Oregon State's spring football session will air May 5 at 4 p.m. on Fox Sports Net Northwest, with Scott Lynn, Todd McKim, Bob Grim, and Steve Preece serving as the hosts.
