THE LAST TIME OUTThe Ducks went 3-1 in the four games with Portland State, winning 7-1, 6-0 and 4-2, while losing the second game of Monday's doubleheader, 2-0. Sophomore Anissa Meashintubby picked up two of Oregon's victories while Connie McMurren slated the other. MariLyn Petrick had a hit in four consecutive at-bats, including a 3-for-3, four RBI performance in the first game against the Vikings Wednesday. After falling behind 1-0 in the final game, Amber Hutchison hit a two-run home run to put the Ducks ahead. The Vikings scored in the next inning to tie the game, but Rachel Tommasini hit a go-ahead single that scored Hutchison in the bottom of the sixth inning. Tommasini finished the game 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored.
