Bradley/Fisher Fall in Doubles Final at Ojai

April 28, 2002

Ojai, Calif. - UCLA women's tennis players Megan Bradley and Lauren Fisher fell one win shy of claiming the Pac-10 doubles title Sunday, falling to Cal's Christina Fusano/Raquel Kops-Jones, 8-6 at the conference championships in Ojai, Calif.

Bradley and Fisher were looking to become the second UCLA team in as many years to claim the title, as the Bruin duo of Mariko Fritz-Krockow and Sara Walker won the title last year.

In the Pac-10 singles final, Stanford's Gabriela Lastra defeated USC's Jewel Peterson, 6-3, 6-3.

UCLA will now wait to see which teams it will face in the NCAA Regionals, May 10-12.
