Rain Postpones Stanford-San Jose State Game

San Jose, Calif. - The non-conference baseball game scheduled between Stanford and San Jose State at Municipal Stadium for Tuesday, April 30, has been postponed due to rain. The teams have rescheduled the game for Wednesday, May 1 (7 pm, PDT) at Municipal Stadium. Stanford (29-12) and San Jose State (35-13) will be meeting for the second time this season. Stanford won the first game between the clubs with a 5-4 victory at Sunken Diamond on Tuesday, April 9.

Tuesday's game had originally been scheduled to be televised on a tape-delayed basis by Silicon Valley Community Communications and broadcast live on KZSU (90.1 FM). Wednesday's game will be an internet only broadcast on KZSU2 available through a link at gostanford.com and will not be broadcast live on the air by KZSU (90.1 FM) or be televised. Live stats will still be available at gostanford.com.
