Women's Tennis Hosts NCAA Regional Site

TEMPE, Ariz. - For the fourth straight year, the Arizona State women's tennis team (13-7) will host a first and second round regional at the Whiteman Tennis Center, May 11-12. The host Sun Devils will take on Southwest Missouri State (16-6) in a first round match up at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, while the University of Arizona (11-10) will face San Diego State (18-8) in the other first round dual at 8:00 a.m.

The two first round winners will then square off in a second round dual on Sunday, May 12 at 10:00 a.m. The winner of the regional advances to the NCAA Round of 16 Team Championship held in Stanford, California, May 16.

Additionally, junior Adria Engel and sophomore Dora Krstulovic were each awarded a bid to participate in the NCAA Individual Singles and Doubles Championship. The two players will compete as individuals and then team up for the doubles portion, May 20-24 also at Stanford.

Saturday, May 11 (first round)

12:00 p.m. - Arizona State vs. SW Missouri State

8:00 a.m. - Arizona vs. San Diego State

Sunday, May 12 (second round)

10:00 a.m. - two first round winners
