Beavers Ink One More Student-Athlete

CORVALLIS, Ore. - -

Alicia Artuso has signed a national letter of intent to compete for the Oregon State women's soccer team, it was announced Friday by head coach Steve Fennah.

Artuso, a rangy 6'-0'' goalkeeper, hails from Rocklin, Calif., where she played for the Placer Sharks club team in Northern California.

'She is excellent in the air, and has very good hands,' Fennah said. 'She commands the penalty area very well.'

Artuso will have four years of eligibility when she begins her career at OSU as a freshman this fall.
