Time Changed For May 17 Baseball Game

May 9, 2002

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The starting time for Oregon State's baseball game against Washington next Friday, May 17, has been moved to 5 p.m. at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. The game had originally been scheduled for 3 p.m.; the installation of lights at the OSU ballpark this spring allowed for the early-evening start.

The Beavers (30-15 overall, 9-6 Pacific-10) and Huskies will continue their series next weekend on Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. Oregon State's 1952 College World Series team will be honored at Saturday's game, and OSU's senior players will be honored at Sunday's game.

OSU will play at California (26-26, 8-13) this weekend, with games Friday at 2:30 p.m., Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. All three games can be heard on KLOO-AM (1340); Saturday's game will be televised live on cable by Fox Sports Net.
