USC needs two wins at UCLA this weekend to claim a share of the Pac-10 Title. The team can win the title outright with a series sweep ... STANFORD, WASHINGTON and ARIZONA STATE also remain fixtures in the tight title race, as just two games separate the fourth-place Sun Devils from the Conference-leading Trojans ... Should a tie for first-place ensue, the procedure for determining the Conference's automatic qualifier for the NCAA Baseball Championship is by taking the regular-season Conference record of each of the tied teams against the other team(s) with which it is tied. If a tie still exists, the tied teams' record in regular-season Conference play against the next highest placed team(s) in the Conference standings shall determine the qualifier.

The 64-team bracket for the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship will be announced live on ESPN2 Monday, May 27th at 11:30 CT. This year, as a result of the September 11 tragedies and concern for the welfare of the student-athletes, regional sites will not be announced until after the bracket has been determined. The primary focus for the adjustment was to reduce air-travel concerns for student-athletes by keeping them close to their home campus.
