May 31, 2002
EUGENE - Football season ticket sales for the 2002 University of Oregon season continue at an unprecedented pace, leaving the availability of single-game tickets for some Pacific-10 Conference games in question, according to Dave Heeke, associate athletics director for external operations.
The Ducks have sold 39,100 season tickets for the upcoming year, surpassing the school's previous season-ticket record of 30,365 from a year ago.
Reserved seats on a season ticket basis are still available for the cost of $253 by calling the school's Athletic Ticket Office at 346-4461 or 1-800-WEBFOOT.
In addition, a limited number of preferred and club level season tickets still remain, with seating located on the south side of the newly expanded Autzen Stadium and access to the Club at Autzen underneath the stadium's south addition. For more information, contact the Duck Athletic Fund at (541) 346-5433.
Oregon's eight-game home schedule commences Aug. 31 vs. Mississippi State, followed by Fresno State (Sept. 7), Idaho (Sept. 14), Portland State (Sept. 21), Arizona State (Oct. 19), USC (Oct. 26), Stanford (Nov. 2) and Washington (Nov. 16).
Any remaining single-game tickets for Oregon's home games are anticipated to go on sale to the general public beginning (Tuesday) July 9.
