Two Husky Football Games Slated for Television Broadcast

Seattle - The Pac-10 Conference, in conjunction with its television partners ABC Sports, Fox Sports Net and TBS Superstation, announced today its early television schedule including a pair of games that feature Washington.
The Huskies Aug. 31 season opener at Michigan will be televised by ABC Sports to a split-national audience. Kickoff for the game is set for noon EDT, 9 a.m. on the West Coast.
The Huskies Sept. 21 home game against Wyoming will be broadcast by Fox Sports Net to a national cable audience. Kickoff for the Wyoming game has been moved to 7:15 p.m. PT.
ABC Sports will televise a total of 14 Pac-10 games this year, while Fox Sport Net will air 13 contests to a national cable audience. In addition, new television partner TBS Superstation will air five games to its national cable audience, giving the Pac-10 a total of 18 games on national cable.
The remainder of Washington's games may be selected as the season progresses with picks made either six or 12 days prior to the games.
