Two UW Baseball Players Earn Honors

Two Washington baseball players earned postseason honors today as senior Michael Done was named to the Pac-10's All-Academic second team and freshman Kyle Larsen was picked by Baseball America as a second-team Freshman All-American.
Done, a third baseman from Littleton, Colo., finished his collegiate career with a 3.22 grade point average and majored in marketing. Done signed a professional contract with the Baltimore Orioles organization after batting .277 with 11 homers and 33 RBI. He was a three-year starter at third after transferring from Seward County CC in Kansas.
Larsen, a first baseman from Redmond's Eastlake High, spent the latter two-thirds of the season as the Huskies' everyday starter at first and also batted third most of the time. He finished the year batting .342 with five home runs and 37 runs batted in. Larsen was also named a first-team Freshman All-America by Collegiate Baseball.
