Lauren Kalvaria Named First-Team Pac-10 All-Academic

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Stanford University senior Lauren Kalvaria (Indialantic, FL) has been named to the 2002 Pacific-10 Conference All-Academic First-Team.

Kalvaria, who won the NCAA 2002 Doubles Championship with senior teammate Gabriela Lastra (Reno, NV), has a 3.33 cumulative grade point average in Economics. She helped lead Stanford to the 2002 NCAA Women's Tennis Team Championship - the Cardinal's third title in her four years - and earned All-America honors for the second straight season.

Stanford also had three other players receive Pac-10 All-Academic recognition. Sophomore was a Second-Team selection, while senior Keiko Tokuda (Clifton, NJ) and sophomore Emilia Anderson (Cincinnati, OH) were named Honorable Mention.
