OSU To Host 2005 NCAA Women's Golf Championships

July 2, 2002

CORVALLIS, Ore. - -

The 2005 NCAA Women's Golf Championships will be played on the Meadows Course at Sunriver Resort in Central Oregon, it was announced Monday.

Oregon State University, in conjunction with Sunriver Resort, will host the event during the third week in May, 2005.

Sunriver and Oregon State have played host to the NCAA Championships before; the event was held at the Crosswater course in the spring of 2000.

The Meadows, having undergone a recent redesign, was the site of the Mountain West Conference Championships last spring, as well as the U.S. Women's Public Links Championships in June.
