Fox Sports Net To Air Pair Of Classic Sun Devil Football Games

The 2002 Arizona State football season is right around the corner and Fox Sports Net plans to help its viewers get ready for it by re-airing a pair of games that feature exciting wins for Sun Devil football program.
On Saturday, Aug. 3, at 4 p.m. the Arizona State vs. Washington State game from 1997 is featured. Ryan Leaf was at the helm of the Cougars, but it was the Sun Devils who were the story as they won 44-31 and handed WSU its only regular season defeat during a Rose Bowl campaign.
Fox Sports Net then closes out this series of replays on Saturday, Aug. 17, at 7 p.m. with one of Arizona State's finest moments, as the network telecasts Jake Plummer and the Sun Devils 19-0 win over top-ranked and two-time defending national champion Nebraska in 1996. It was the victory that set the wheels in motion for ASU's undefeated regular season and Rose Bowl appearance.

Saturday, Aug. 17, 7 p.m. -- Arizona State vs. #1 Nebraska, 1996
