CORVALLIS, Ore. - -

Oregon State senior rower Joy Jordan was named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association All-American Second Team, it was announced Wednesday.

Jordan, a native of Alsea, Ore., rowed the six seat in the varsity eight boat that reached as high as 13th in the CRCA national rankings this year.

To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must meet their respective institution's eligibility rules and participate in at least 75 percent of their varsity boat's races.

The All-America first and second teams were selected from the field of 60 rowers and coxswains who received First-Team All-Region honors.

OSU's Abby Roos earned Second-Team All-America honors after the 2000-01 season.
