Volleyball Little Spikers Program Sign-up

The Washington State University women's volleyball program has set the dates for the ninth annual 'Little Spikers' youth volleyball clinics.

The 'Little Spikers' program is a series of one-hour volleyball participation clinics for boys and girls, ages 5-10, conducted by the WSU coaches and players. The clinics will run from 10 to 11 a.m. on the Volleyball Court in Bohler Gym on four of the Cougar home weekends. The Saturday clinic dates are Sept. 21,Oct. 26, Nov. 9, and Nov. 16. The clinic participants will demonstrate their skills between games of the Nov. 16, 7 p.m. WSU match against Stanford.

A fun atmosphere will be provided for learning the basics of volleyball while using a special lightweight ball. Current and former Cougar volleyball players and the WSU coaching staff are the clinic instructors.

A $20 registration fee covers the four Saturday clinics, a Little Spikers T-shirt, and free admission to five Cougar volleyball home matches. Registration and payment deadline is Sept. 13. Call the Cougar Volleyball Office at 335-0277 to register.
