Tucson, Arizona - The University of Arizona men's tennis program announced the schedule for the 2002-2003 season. The team looks to improve on its 9-12 finish last season with solid play from its returning athletes.

The Wildcats open the season with four fall tournaments. Arizona will be tested early at the Napa Valley Classic in Napa Valley, Calif., on Sept. 20-22. The Wildcats will match against two NCAA tournament teams including the national runner-up Georgia, and the fourth-ranked Illinois.

In total, Arizona will play 12 home matches at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center, including Pac-10 matches against national champion USC (March 29), third-ranked UCLA, No. 10 Stanford and No. 13 California.

Head Coach Bill Wright enters his 17th year as the men's tennis coach and will be returning five players, including top returnees junior Whi Kim and senior Tom Lloyd.
