Pac-10 Volleyball Player of the Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -

Arizona outside hitter Kim Glass has been named Pac-10 Volleyball Player of the Week for Sept. 9-Sept. 15, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Glass, a freshman from Lancaster, Pa., was named the Nike Invitational MVP last weekend, leading Arizona to victories against host No. 21-ranked Pacific and St. Mary's (Calif.). For the week, she recorded 50 total kills on .295 hitting for Arizona, an average of 4.55 kills per game, and racked up 60 points. Against Pacific, she put down a career-high 21 kills along with 15 digs in the Wildcats' 3-1 victory.

This is the first weekly honor for Glass, Arizona's 17th Player of the Week honor all-time.
