TUCSON, Ariz. - University of Arizona cornerback Michael Jolivette, one of the most experienced players on the Wildcat defense, will notmake the Arizona football team's trip to Madison, Wis., for the Wildcats'game Saturday against the Badgers.
Jolivette, a 5-foot-10, 180-pound junior from Houston, Texas, injured his left knee in practice Wednesday, and head coach Johnmackovic said a magnetic resonance scan is necessary to determine theextent of an apparent injury to his medial collateral ligament
Two other UA regulars, also banged up in practice this week, were listedas questionable by Mackovic shortly before the team departed via charter, but he said they'd accompany the team -- free safety Clay Hardt anddefensive tackle Vince Feula.
Hardt made the big defensive stop in the waning moments of Arizona's 23-17victory over Utah last Saturday with a tackle on 4th-and-2 from UA'sthree yard-line. Feula earned his first career start against the Utes and ispart of UA's four-man rotataion opn the interior.
