Beavers Head Into Mason Rudolph Classic Off To Hot Start

TEEING OFF: Oregon State plays in Vanderbilt's Mason Rudolph Classic this Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 23-24, in Franklin, Tenn. The teams play 36 holes on Monday and 18 Tuesday for a total of 54; an 8 a.m. shotgun start begins play each day. Teams consist of five players, with the low four scores counting toward the team total in each round.
THE COURSE: The tournament is held at The Legends Club of Tennessee, on the Iron Horse Course, which plays to 6,276 yards and carries a par of 72.
THE FIELD: The Mason Rudolph Classic features five of the nation's top 25 teams (Golfweek), and has 14 teams in all. Ohio State (4th), Arizona (6), Tennessee (8), Vanderbilt (13), and Stanford (24) are joined by Tulane, North Carolina State, LSU, Ole Miss, Oregon State, Missouri, Furman, Northwestern, and UNC-Wilmington.
