Fox Sports Net to Televise Four ASU Women's Basketball Games Nationally

TEMPE, Ariz. - Fox Sports Net will televise four Arizona State women's basketball games to a national cable audience during the 2002-03 season as part of the Pac-10 Conference television package.
First up for the Sun Devils will be the AstraZeneca Hoops for the Cure Classic II vs. 2001 national champion Notre Dame on Saturday, Dec. 7. Fox will televise the game with tip-off scheduled for 12 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena.
The three other televised games will come during the Pac-10 season starting with ASU's Friday, Dec. 27 Pac-10 opener at Stanford in a rematch of last year's Pac-10 Tournament championship game which the Sun Devils won to capture the inaugural league tournament crown.
Fox Sports Net will also televise two of Arizona State's Pac-10 home games: the Saturday, Jan. 4 game vs. Oregon and the Saturday, Feb. 8 game vs. Washington.
ASU also has the possibility of being chosen as a wildcard selection on Saturday, Feb. 22 at Arizona or Saturday, March 1 vs. Stanford.
The Pac-10's 18-game regular-season telecasts will then culminate with live coverage of the final three games of the 2003 State Farm Pac-10 Women's Basketball Tournament, which will be held March 7-10 at HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif.
Arizona State has had 54 games televised over the past five seasons including a school-record 14 broadcasts in 1997-98 and eight last year.
