Women's Basketball Sets Times for AstraZeneca Hoops for the Cure Classic II

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona State women's basketball team has set game times for the AstraZeneca Hoops for the Cure Classic II to be held Saturday, Dec. 7 at Wells Fargo Arena, head coach Charli Turner Thorne announced Thursday.
The back-to-back Pac-10 Champion Sun Devils will take on 2001 NCAA Champion Notre Dame in the first game with tipoff scheduled for 12 p.m. Mountain Standard Time. Fox Sports Net will broadcast the ASU-Notre Dame contest to a national television audience as part of the Pac-10's television package.
The second game of the doubleheader, pitting 1999 national champion Purdue and perennial national powerhouse Vanderbilt, will tip off at 2:30 p.m. MST.
Proceeds from the doubleheader will be donated to the Phoenix affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation to benefit breast cancer research, treatment and education in the Valley of the Sun.
