Tim Pierce Selected UCLABruins.com Student-Athlete of the Week

Senior forward Tim Pierce (Dana Point, CA/Santa Margarita HS) of the UCLA Men's Soccer Team was selected as the UCLABruins.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 23-29.
Pierce registered his first career hat trick in UCLA's 7-0 victory over San Diego State. His first goal came just 16 seconds into the contest, a new UCLA school record for fastest goal and the fifth-fastest goal in NCAA Division I history. Pierce also assisted on the Bruins' second goal to give him seven points on the day, equaling his season total entering the contest. He now has 14 points on five goals and four assists.
This is Pierce's first UCLABruins.com Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and the second of his career.
