Bogus Named Pac-10 Women's Soccer Player Of The Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- ARIZONA STATE freshman forward Elizabeth Bogus has been named Pac-10 Women's Soccer Player of the Week for Sept. 24-30, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Bogus, from Sandy, Utah, posted three goals, including two game-winners, as the Sun Devils (6-1-2) notched shutout road wins at Georgia and Auburn. The 2-0 win against the Bulldogs and 1-0 win over the Tigers marked the fourth and fifth consecutive shouts for ASU, matching the school record. Bogus leads the team with six goals and four game-winners this year, which ties for second on Arizona State's all-time single-season chart.

This is the first Pac-10 Player of the Week honor for Bogus and Arizona State's fifth such honor all-time.
