Diamond Dawgs Close Out Fall With Intrasquad Series

SEATTLE - The Washington baseball team will close out the 2002 fall practice season next week with its annual intrasquad 'Fall World Series.'

The Huskies will be split into a gold squad and a purple squad for the five-game series, and the two teams will be coached by assistant coaches Travis Jewett and Gregg Swenson.

The first game of the series is Sunday, Oct. 6, at 10:00 a.m. The series continues Monday and Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. After a day off Wednesday, the fourth game isThursday at 6:30 p.m. and the last game of the series, and the final day of fall practice, is Friday at 4:00 p.m.

Fans are welcome to attend any and all games. There is no admission fee.
