Women's Golf With Strong Lead After Second Round Of Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational

Tacoma, Wash. - Senior Becky Lucidi and the No. 14 USC women's golf team cooled off a bit on Tuesday, but both still hold on to first place after two rounds of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational held at Tacoma Country Club.
One day after firing a school-record-tying 65, Lucidi shot 77, part of a team total of 301 for the Women of Troy on the day. Lucidi (142) is on top of the leaderboard, one stroke ahead of Pepperdine's Katherine Hull (143).
The Women of Troy (593) are seven strokes ahead of Washington and Pepperdine (600). California is fourth (602), while UCLA is fifth (604).
Senior All-American Mikaela Parmlid is sixth (146), while freshman Tanya Dergal is tied for 23rd (153) and freshman Irene Cho is tied for 25th (154). Junior Rachel Bell is tied for 42nd (160).
The tournament concludes on Wednesday with a 9 a.m. tee off.
