Dustin White Perched in the Top 10 After Two Rounds

LAKESIDE, Calif. - Dustin White sits in a tie for 7th after two rounds of the Barona Collegiate Cup at the Par 72, 7,088 yard Barona Creek Golf Course at Lakeside, Calif.
White fired an opening round 68 to tie him for fifth, and continued his success into the afternoon by carding a 1-under 71 to end in a tie for seventh, and four shots back of leaders Shawn Wills of Denver (67-68, -9), and Peter Tomasulo of California (66-69, -9).
At the end of the first day of competition, Denver leads all schools, followed closely by San Diego State, and Brigham Young University. The Cougars are in 14th place, and sit five team strokes back from the top 10.
Isaac Woods improved his scoring by two strokes from the morning to the afternoon, and sits in a tie for 55th, followed by Ryan Ressa who is in a tie for 59th. Chad Carlson picked up four strokes from his first round score, and will head into tomorrow in a tie for 79th. Ryan Camp rounds out the Cougar contingent in a tie for 86th.
