Arizona Men's Tennis Completes Play at Omni Hotel Region VIII-South Championships

MALIBU, Calif. - Arizona men's tennis finished competition at the Omni Hotel Region VIII-South Championships in Malibu, Calif., Saturday. The Wildcats fell in all three matches ending their weekend.
During the quarterfinals of the main draw, sophomore Colin O'Grady feel to Diego Acuna of Pepperdine in straight sets, 6-0, 6-2.
Two Arizona teams competed in doubles play Saturday. The pair of junior Carl Hagman and Colin O'Grady fell to the No. 4-seeted doubles team, USC's Johan Berg and Daniel Langre, 8-2. Meanwhile, freshman Daniel Andrus and junior Whi Kim lost to Alex Anselme and Mike Placek of UC Santa Barbara, 8-2.
With these three losses, the Wildcats complete competition at the Omni Hotel Region VIII-South Championships and the scheduled fall season. The Cats will be in action next when they begin the spring season in January.
