CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Orange Crush Mat Club will begin its 2002-03 wrestling workouts on Nov. 12; the club is for athletes age 7 and older who wish to improve their skills in the high school/collegiate, freestyle and Greco-Roman styles. Practices are each Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 p.m.-7:45 p.m. in the Dale Thomas Wrestling Room, located in Langton Hall on the Oregon State campus.

The club is divided into three age groups: Kids (ages 7-13), High School (ages 14-18) and Open (ages 18 and older); each group will have a coach and receive instruction and clinics from some of the best area coaches at the high school and college levels.
Wrestlers can join at any Orange Crush practice.
The Orange Crush is sanctioned by USA Wrestling, which is the governing body of amateur wrestling in the United States; that allows Orange Crush wrestlers to participate in USA Wrestling-sanctioned tournaments and events.
Cost is $95 for the high school/collegiate season and $60 for the freestyle and Greco-Roman season; that includes an Orange Crush T-shirt and USA Wrestling membership card.
