Charroin And Stewart Fall In The Quarterfinals Of The ITA National Indoors

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona State men's tennis doubles team of Olivier Charroin and Chris Stewart made a respectable showing at the Omni Hotels National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships as they advanced to the quarterfinals before falling to the second-seeded and nation's No. 2 team of Scott Lipsky and Davis Martin of Stanford, 8-4.

The National Indoor Championships features most of the top doubles team in the country. In the first round, which took place at the Brookhaven Country Club in Framers Branch, Texas, Charroin and Stewart defeated the tandem of David Lingman and Mark Riddell of Harvard, 8-5. The loss was the first on the season for Charroin and Stewart as their record moves to 7-1 in the fall period.
