Freshman tailback Tyler Ebell (Ventura, CA/Ventura HS) of the UCLA Men'sFootball Team was selected as the UCLABruins.com Student-Athlete of the Weekfor the week of Nov. 4-11.
At Arizona, Ebell became only the second play in school history to rushfor over 100 yards in six consecutive games during the same season. Ebellfinished with 124 yards and two touchdowns on 22 attempts in UCLA's 37-7victory. His first touchdown was a tackle-breaking, reverse-field 22-yardrun, while his second was a 19-yard run on fourth-and-one to give the Bruinsa 17-0 lead. On the night, he had four runs of at least 19 yards, includingone for 36 on UCLA's first touchdown drive.
Ebell leads the Bruins with 858 yards on 188 attempts and is averaging4.6 yards per carry. He also leads the team with nine touchdowns and 54points.
This is Ebell's third UCLABruins.com Student-Athlete of the Week honorof the season and his career.
