Bruin Swimming and Diving Takes Week Off Before Hosting Arizona State and Arizona

In the latest College Swimming Coaches Association of America poll, UCLA (3-0, 1-0 Pac-10) is ranked No. 12 in the nation. This week, the Bruins will take a week off before hosting Arizona State and Arizona.
UCLA is 11-8-1 against the Sun Devils and 14-6 against the Wildcats.
This past Saturday, November 9, the Bruins defeated San Diego 194-146. With the victory, UCLA improved its record to 3-0 (1-0 Pac-10) this season.
The Bruins were led by junior Sara Platzer, who won both the 50 (23.64) and 100 (52.18) Free, and freshman diver Paige Thompson, who won the one- and three-meter springboard, 254.85 and 245.50 points, respectively.
At the three-day USC Trojan Diving Invitational, senior Regan Gosnell placed second on platform and third on both the one- and three-meter springboard.
The Bruins will resume Pac-10 competition against the Arizona State Sun Devils and Arizona Wildcats. UCLA will host the Sun Devils November 22 at 2:00 PM and the Wildcats November 23 at 1:00 PM.
All Bruin home meets are held at the Sunset Canyon Recreation Center located on the UCLA campus.
