Luke and Luke Lead Ducks to Another Victory

EUGENE - Luke Ridnour scored 31 points and dished out 10 assists to lead the Oregon men's basketball team to a 132-98 victory over the EA Sports All-Stars in its final exhibition game of the season.
The junior guard from Blaine, Wash., had 22 points in the first half, including four three pointers. EA Sports took a brief 35-33 lead with just under eight minutes remaining in the first half, but the Ducks responded with a 34-14 run to finish the half.
All five starters scored in double digits for the Ducks, including 25 points from Luke Jackson. Oregon continued its hot shooting in the exhibition season, finishing the game 57.8 percent (48-of-83) from the field.
Brett McFall led the All-Stars with 18 points, followed by Tony Harvey's 17 points.
University of Oregon student Tex Arnold played as a tenth man for the All-Stars and played the final two minutes of the game. Arnold scored two points and picked up one steal, much to the delight of the 8,412 fans at McArthur Court.
Oregon's regular season will begin with the John Thompson Classic, matching up with Grambling State Nov. 24, at 5:30 p.m. The Ducks will host the invitational, with Cal State Northridge and Jacksonville rounding out the four schools in the competition.
