Senior Lisa Rutledge Named Second Team Academic All-Pac-10

TUCSON, Ariz. - Senior outside hitter Lisa Rutledge has been named second team Academic All-Pac-10 commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Rutledge, who leads Arizona in total digs and is second in total kills, has a 3.59 cumulative grade point average in pyschology.

Joining Rutledge as honorable mention selections from Arizona are redshirt freshman Angie Ayers and redshirt junior Christina Frost.

To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.

2002 marks the fourth consecutive season that an Arizona volleyball player has garnered academic honors from the conference.
