WHAT'S ON TAP . . . The Ducks head to the site of two of the most exciting -- and from Oregon's standpoint, most disappointing -- games of 2001-02, when they play at California on Thursday, Jan. 9 at 7:00 p.m. and at Stanford on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 2:00 p.m. Last February, Stanford defeated Oregon 90-87 in overtime at Maples Pavilion -- a place that Oregon hasn't won at since 1986, and then two days later, Cal defeated the Ducks 107-103 in double-overtime at Haas Pavilion. The Stanford game will be televised live nationally by Fox Sports Net.

JACKSON HITS 1,000 POINTS; RIDNOUR NEXT . . . Luke Jackson became the 23rd member of Oregon's 1,000-point club when he scored 18 Jan. 4 against Arizona State to bring his career total to 1,012. Luke Ridnour will likely join Jackson this weekend; Rid comes into the Cal game with 982 career points.

KEY STAT . . . Oregon has more assists than the opposition in all 12 games thus far. The Ducks average 18.8 assists per game, compared to the opponents' 11.0.
