Volunteers Still Needed For Pac-10 Women's Golf Championships

Feb. 18, 2003

CORVALLIS, Ore. - -

Oregon State hosts the Pacific-10 Conference women's golf championships Apr. 24-26 at Trysting Tree Golf Club, and volunteers are needed.

Those volunteering will have a chance to see some of the finest female golfers in the country and watch potential future LPGA Tour members.

Volunteers are needed for ball-spotting, score tent and hospitality tent attendants, and live stat assistants.

Time slots are still available on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for each capacity. Those volunteering for more than one time slot will be eligible for volunteer gifts.

Little or no golf experience is required for most positions.

If you wish to volunteer or if you have questions, please email Susan Carpenter at WgolfVol@oregonstate.edu or call (541) 737-7358.
