No. 3 Baylor Beats No. 7 Stanford At National Team Indoors

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky - The seventh-ranked Stanford men's tennis team dropped a 4-0 quarterfinal decision to third-ranked Baylor in the quarterfinals of the USTA/ITA National Indoor Championship on Friday afternoon at the Louisville Tennis Center. Stanford (5-2) was shooting for its sixth straight National Team Indoor semifinal appearance and 21st overall.
The Cardinal wraps up National Team Indoor play against 18th-ranked Texas A&M in consolation bracket action on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). The winner of that match will finish tied for fifth place in the 16-team event.
Baylor (9-0) won all five matches on Friday, and started the dual with victories at No. 2 and 3 doubles to capture the first point.
The Bears then won in straight sets at No. 2, 5 and 6 singles to close out the match.
