No. 7 ASU Gymnasts Fall to No. 8 Stanford, 197.200-196.900

No. 7-ranked Arizona State fell to No. 8 Stanford, 197.250-196.900 in Pacific-10 Conference women's gymnastics at Maples Pavilion Friday in Palo Alto.
ASU's Maggie Germaine placed second in the all-around with a score of 39.550. Stanford's Lise Leveile placed first with a 39.725.
Four Cardinal gymnasts - Kendall Beck, Natalie Foley, Glyn Sweets and Levieile tied for first on vault, scoring 9.900. Germaine was fifth at 9.875.
ASU's Ashley Kelly and Leveile and teammate Lindsey Wing tied for first on beam at 9.950. Stanford's Sweets was third (9.925).
The uneven bars competition was won by Leveile and Wing, who tied at 9.925. Placing third was Foley (9.900).
On the floor exercise, Germaine and Leveile tied for first (9.950) while Wing was third at 9.925.
Arizona State plays host to the UNO's Classic, featuring California and Rutgers, next Friday, February 28 at 7:00 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena.
