Softball Ranks 17th In Inaugural ESPN.com/USA Softball Top 25 Poll

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Oregon State University's softball team is ranked 17th in the inaugural ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 poll, as was announced Tuesday, by the Amateur Softball Association, the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States.

The ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 poll is voted on by NCAA Division I coaches representing 15 different ASA regions and 12 different collegiate conferences. The poll is also voted on by selected softball media members. Records are as of February 24. First-place votes are in parentheses.

All eight Pacific-10 Conference softball programs are represented in the poll, which will be released every Tuesday throughout the season.
