CALIFORNIA and STANFORD remain unbeaten at home in league play, but will get tested this week as they host the Arizona...With a sweep of the Bay Area teams, ARIZONA would clinch the Pac-10 title...Three Pac-10 teams continue to be ranked in the latest polls. ARIZONA tops both polls, followed by STANFORD at No. 19 and CALIFORNIA at No. 21 (ESPN/USA Today)/No. 23 (AP)...WASHINGTON travels to WASHINGTON STATE, while the Oregon schools host UCLA and USC.

PAC-10 PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Channing Frye, Arizona
Arizona sophomore center Channing Frye scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in Arizona's 92-72 win at Arizona State. Frye connected on 9-of-11 field goal attempts and was 5-of-5 from the free throw line in posting his second straight double-double and his fourth in the last six games. The effort boosted Frye's team-leading totals to 59.7 percent shooting from the floor and 7.7 rebounds per game.
It is the first weekly award for Frye, the 58th all-time honor for the Wildcats.

ARIZONA - At 21-2 on the season, Arizona equals the best start in school history as both the 1987-88 and 1992-93 teams were 21-2 after 23 games played. The '87-88 squad finished the season 35-3 while the '92-93 squad finished 24-4...Arizona's front line triumvirate of Luke Walton (23 pts/10 rbs), Rick Anderson (19 pts/12 rbs) and Channing Frye (23 pts/10 rbs) connected on 26-of-40 (.650) field goal attempts and in a statistical rarity, each posted double-doubles in the victory at Arizona State. As UA head coach Lute Olson said after the game, 'I don't think I've ever had a team with three guys who had double-doubles on the same night along the whole front line.'...The Wildcats have won their last three conference games by a combined 83 points (27.7 margin of victory). In those three games, UA opponents averaged 67.0 points while shooting 37.2 percent from the field...Over the last five games, Channing Frye is averaging 19.0 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.8 blocked shots to go with a 68.4 field goal percentage. He has three double-doubles in that span...Over its last five games, Arizona is shooting 49.4 percent from the field (158-of-320). That figure jumps to 53.6 percent (103-of-192) in Arizona's last three outings, including Saturday's 57.4 percent effort (35-of-61) at Arizona State, which was a season best. Two of Arizona's three best shooting efforts this season have come in its last two games...Over his last five games, freshman Andre Iguodala is averaging 9.8 points and 4.8 rebounds while shooting 45.2 percent from the field.
ARIZONA STATE - Freshman Ike Diogu is averaging 19.7 points and 9.4 rebounds in the past seven games and has nine 20-point games this season. In Conference play, he is shooting 60.1 percent from the field (155-of-258) and is at 63.2 percent (91-of-144). Diogu is averaging 18.5 points and is shooting 68.1 percent (47-of-69) from the field in eight road games...Senior back-up point guard Kyle Dodd has 29 assists and just four turnovers in the past five games...The Sun Devils have outrebounded 10 of their past 12 opponents and is outrebounding opponents by 7.1 boards per game in that span...The Sun Devils have shot 168-of-231 (.727) from the free throw line in the past nine games...ASU is averaging 15.8 offensive boards in the past four games...Curtis Millage has made 30-of-35 (.857) from the free throw line in the past nine games. Millage is averaging 16.3 points in Pac-10 play. He has made 17-of-18 (.944) free throws in the past three games...Freshman Ike Diogu, Cal senior Joe Shipp and Oregon junior Luke Ridnour are the only Pac-10 players who have posted double digits in every game this year...A crowd of 14,421 was in attendance for Arizona State's game with Arizona. It was the fourth largest crowd in school history.
CALIFORNIA - Senior forward Joe Shipp became the seventh Cal player to score 1,500 points in a career. With 1,547 points, he needs 10 points to pass Brian Hendrick for sixth on Cal's career scoring list. Shipp's 153 career three-pointers tie him for second on the school's career chart...Freshman guard Richard Midgley continues his hot shooting from beyond the arc. In the last 12 games, he is shooting 18-of-34 (.529) from three-point range. He leads the Pac-10 at 32-of-66 (.485)...Cal is one victory shy of posting its third consecutive 20-win season and the fifth in seven years under coach Ben Braun...Cal looks to extend its 17-game home court winning streak Thursday against Arizona. The Wildcats were the last team to win in Haas Pavilion (68-58, Jan. 31, 2002). Over the last two seasons, Cal is 29-1 at home.
OREGON - Junior guard Luke Ridnour's Pac-10 record free throw streak came to an end at Washington Saturday. His streak reached 62 consecutive free throws before missing an attempt in the second half... As a team, the Ducks have shot 148-170 (.871) from the free throw line over the last 10 games. Oregon has shot 80 percent or better from the free throw line in 13 games this season...Ridnour's next basket will move him past A.D. Smith for 12th on the Oregon career scoring list. He currently has 1,233 career points. Ridnour needs 17 points to reach 500 for the season. He would be the first Oregon player since Orlando Williams (1994, 1995), and seventh player in school history, to post back-to-back 500-point seasons.
OREGON STATE - Senior center Philip Ricci scored 25 points and senior forward Brian Jackson tallied 20 points in the loss at Washington State. It's the second time this season that both players each scored 20 or more points in the same game (also Nov. 23 vs. Idaho)... The Beavers scored 80 points in their victory at Washington. It was the fourth time this season that OSU has score at least 80 points in a Pac-10 game. The last time the Beavers scored at least 80 points in four Conference games was during the 1995 season...With the victory at Washington, the Beavers have won three road games in league play for the first time since posting a 4-5 road record during the 1993 season...OSU is looking to sweep the two L.A. schools in the same season for the first time since 1988.
STANFORD - The Cardinal have posted their ninth consecutive 20-win season... Stanford is riding a season-best five-game winning streak...With their win at UCLA, the Cardinal have won the last six meetings in Pauley Pavilion...Since returning to the starting lineup three games ago, junior forward Justin Davis is averaging 16.0 points and 9.3 rebounds. He has recorded a pair of double-doubles in the last three games and is tied for the league lead with eight for the season...The Cardinal are shooting 62-of-77 (.805) from the free throw line over the last four games...Junior guard Matt Lottich regained his long distance touch as he was 9-of-15 (.600) from three-point range on the L.A. swing. In the four games prior to the L.A. trip, he was 4-of-20 (.200) from long range.
UCLA - With Cedric Bozeman out with an injury, senior guard Ray Young started at point guard for the first time in his career and responded by averaging 20.0 points on 12-of-21 (.571), 4.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds. He scored 18 points with four assists as the Bruins snapped a 10-game conference losing streak, and an eight-game home losing streak, with the win over California...Senior forward Jason Kapono scored 27 points vs. Stanford, his third-highest single game total this season. He now has 304 three-pointers, only the third player in Pac-10 history to record 300 or more. He now has 1,997 career points. With three more points, he will become the fourth player in UCLA history and the 14th player in Pac-10 history to score 2,000 points...Sophomore guard Dijon Thompson posted his first career double-double with 20 points/11 rebounds in the win over California. It was his fifth time this season he has scored 20 or more points.
USC - Junior guard Desmon Farmer has scored 919 points in his career. At his current 18.2 points per game scoring average, Farmer has a chance to reach 1,000 points for his career by the end of the season...Farmer has connected on 33 of his last 39 free throw attempts (.846) over the last seven games. He ranks seventh in the league in free throw percentage (.830)...Sophomore forward Gregg Guenther Jr. has a pair of double-doubles in the last three games. Over that span, he is averaging 9.0 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.
WASHINGTON - The Huskies have posted eight home wins for the first time since 1999 when they finished with an 11-1 home slate...The 12-point margin of victory over Oregon was the largest for the Huskies in the series since 1993...Washington shot 13-of-31 (.419) from three-point range last week. It is shooting 33.6 percent from beyond the arc in nine league home games, but just 29.8 percent in six league road contests...Freshman guard Nate Robinson has scored in double figures in each of the last seven games, averaging 15.3 points per game. He's shooting 43-of-89 (.483) over that span of seven games.
WASHINGTON STATE - The Cougars snapped a 21-game Pac-10 losing streak with Saturday's victory over Oregon State. In the victory, WSU shot a season-best 49.1 percent from the field..Freshman walk-on guard Randy Green scored a career-high 22 points in the win over Oregon State. For the weekend, Green averaged 20.0 points, while shooting 13-of-22 (.591) from the field, 4-of-6 (.667) from beyond the arc, and 10-of-12 (.833) from the free throw line. Prior to the his 40-point scoring outburst against the Oregon schools last week, Green had scored a total of 35 points the entire season.
