No. 24 Wildcats Down Golden Bears

TUCSON, Ariz. - Shawntinice Polk scored 22 points and Krista Warrenadded 16 as No. 24 Arizona beat California 68-51 Saturday.

Arizona (20-7, 13-5 Pac-10) won its 13th straight game at home.

California trimmed it to 39-37 with 15:41 remaining, but wouldn't scoreanother field goal for another eight minutes. The Wildcats went on a 21-3 run,including 16 straight points, to take control of the game.

Polk had seven rebounds, giving her the school record for rebounds in aseason with 291. She also set a freshman record in scoring with 482 points.

Leigh Gregory led California (9-18, 5-13) with 11 points. The Bears teamhave lost six of their last seven games.
