STANFORD, Calif. - Seventh ranked Arizona State fell to the third-ranked Stanford Cardinal on Friday at the Taube Tennis Center.

Arizona State dropped its overall record to 6-2 and 1-1 overall, while Stanford now stands at improved 9-1 overall and 2-0 in Pac -10 play.

The Sun Devils hope to retailiate with a win Saturday against the fourth-ranked California Golden Bears, in California.
