The No. 7 Women's Tennis Unable to Defeat the No. 4 Cal Golden Bears

Berkeley, Calif. - The No. 7 Arizona State Women's Tennis Team played well, but still suffered a 5-2 loss to the No. 4 California Golden Bears on Saturday afternoon in Berkeley.

The Sun Devils' record now stands at 6-3 for the season, and the Sun Devils will return home to prepare for the No. 15th-ranked Fightin' Irish of Notre Dame.

The match is scheduled to be played at ASU's Whiteman Tennis Center on Friday March 14 at 1:30 p.m.

In singles, the Sun Devils were able to capture some points with No. 20, Adria Engel defeating No.13 Raquel Kops-Jones, during which Engel's fellow Sun Devil, Lauren Colalillo beat Nicol Havlicek, 6-4, 6-4.
